Compassionate end-of-life care and support to individuals who are no longer seeking curative treatment. Â
Who We Are
At Bethel Oaks Assisted Living, we specialize in high-acuity care and safe, efficient hospital-to-home transitions.
As a pharmacist-owned and operated residence, we provide advanced medication management, reducing the risk of errors, complications, and hospital readmissions.
About Us
Our boutique 5-bed residence offers both private and shared room options, allowing us to maintain a low caregiver-to-resident ratio and deliver highly personalized, attentive care. This smaller setting ensures each resident receives the time, oversight, and individualized support they need—especially during critical post-discharge periods.
We are equipped to accept residents with complex medical needs, including those requiring medication administration, chronic disease management, and enhanced levels of care in a residential setting. Our experienced team works closely with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and home health providers to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity of care.
With a focus on personalised care plans, close monitoring, and rapid response to changes in condition, we support better outcomes and long-term stability. Our staff is highly trained and experienced in higher acuity cases, making us a strong alternative for residents who may not be appropriate for traditional assisted living environments.
Our Vision
To be a trusted assisted living home where individuals receive personalized care, live with dignity, and feel truly at home while families have complete peace of mind.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and personalized care in a small residential setting. We support residents with daily living, medication oversight, and attentive supervision, while creating a calm, respectful environment that promotes comfort, connection, and quality of life.
Meet Our Owner
Born in England and raised in Ghana, I was shaped by two strong influences: a father who is a chartered accountant with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a mother who was a dedicated teacher known for her compassion and service. From them, my siblings and I learned the values of hard work, discipline, integrity, and care for others—principles that continue to guide both my professional journey and my approach to caregiving.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry before moving to the United States, where I completed my Doctorate in Pharmacy at Temple University. Over the past 14 years, I have built a diverse career as a pharmacist, with experience in community pharmacy, long-term care, and leadership roles including managing intravenous compounding pharmacies. I have also served veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, reinforcing my commitment to patient safety, precision, and high-quality care.
At Bethel Oaks Assisted Living, I bring together my clinical expertise and personal values to create a higher standard of care in a small, residential setting. Our boutique approach allows us to truly know each resident, provide close oversight, and deliver personalized, compassionate support. Our mission is to create a safe, comfortable environment where residents can thrive—and where families have complete peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in capable hands.

Real People. Real Stories

They were the best for us. I wish my loved one had moved there sooner. They have great activities. The care they give to the residents is fantastic. The food was good for our loved one.

I have been living here for a few months and I love the friendly staff and residents. We have a lot of activities available and one of my favorite things to do is movie night together.

I am so glad I could move in after several years of living alone and caring for a large house. I have many friends now to talk to and participate in activities with.

My mom moved there two years ago and is very happy there. The staff is pleasant, helpful and caring and they treat him like family. The management does a good job of keeping us informed on matters related to the facility and any impact on residents.
